movies have made me numb to the concept of love. i go on searching for this stylized version of it, wondering if those synthetic feelings will materialize out of chance meetings here and there- but good actors and actresses make the writers' ideology of love seem and feel... real. What we see on the silver screen is rarely a representation of what IS real (with a few expectations). These movies make me want that destiny-driven, fantasy-fueled, magical-moment. Alas, it is only on celluloid that this world of special connections exist. Too few and far in between do you hear such stories. Where everyone says the perfect line delivered with perfect timing to end up being perfectly cliche. In order to have these life altering incidents to happen in the real world we live in, we must create them... but the movies say y'all shouldn't fuck with destiny. Lame. When it comes down to it anyway, some of the most famous love stories, would never really take place. After all, romeo and juliet was pretty much a one night fling right?

She cares more for my eternal life and soul than my current one. Can a person be so blinded by their faith, they have confused it with fear. I see how you live your life, and that's how you want it to be for me? I'd rather raise questions and find answers than follow the blindfolded flock.

if there's love... i just wanna have something to do with it

been in a mega funk lately... and it kinda blows. strike that... reverse it... it REALLY blows. It's one of those low-lows where it seems as if even though there is nowhere to go but up, you still look at the unstable ground below you thinkin it is going to crash down at any second. yup, that bad. Well, couple silver linings to these multitude of grey clouds. Turned in my SDSU app (at the very last minute... almost literally). So if all goes well, (i need the whole damn west coast to cross their fingers for this one), i should be there next fall... seems so far, but i can smell it (smells like burnt toast). But next semester is gonna be a mega bitch. I better spend my quality time with people now, because kiss my ass goodbye next semster. Second highlight, i just cooked chicken noodle soup from scratch... next time though, i wanna even make the noodles. That way i can have those mega thick ass souplantation style noodles. I know that's not a big highlight, it's just something to feel a LITTLE bit accomplished.

(enter random cryptic hits here) The world around me is a scary place, and i've never been ready for it... but when are you ever REALLY ready. Take a punch, you never know, it might not even hurt. I don't wanna be the asshole... but sometimes you have to be an ass to be the better man.
